Albany
Animal Doctors was originally opened in 2003 as a branch clinic.
In February 2008 Kevin and Stephanie took it over and turned
it
into a busy fully operational, full time clinic. They
introduced
a Saturday morning service and an animal health and product retail area.
At
Albany Animal Doctors we’re environmentally
conscious.We
recycle everything we can. To
avoid buying new plastic bags for
our waste bins, we’d rather recycle old ones, so some of our lovely
clients bring in their clean shopping bags for us to use.
We also love our clients to bring in their pill
bottles to re-use for their prescriptions.
We
appreciate our clients' custom so we offer a loyalty scheme as
our way to say thanks.
With
every $25 you spend with us, we’ll stamp your
card (the back of our business cards) and when you fill the card, we’ll
put you in our draw for the monthly prize of around $100 worth of
products and/or services.
Albany
Animal Doctors believes in giving
back to the community. We
proudly support Sapphire
Cat Rescue by
providing discounted veterinary services for the many wild and stray
cats
they rescue, de-sex and re-home. Kevin
finds himself taking care of
Massey
University's Preschool's budgie when needed. We
also speyed Upper Harbour School's cat free of charge.
We
are
sponsors of the Child Safety Awareness Programme. We've
also supported Albany Primary School, Coatesville School,
Massey
University Early Childcare Centre and Coatesville Scouts. We
were
involved in North Shore's Secondary School's Gateway Partnership which
provides work and learning experiences for students and in the SPCA's
Desex and the City Campaign again last year.

Testimonials:
You guys are so brave dealing with
the things you deal with every day and at the same time so
caring. I just wanted to take a minute to tell you
how much we appreciate knowing you guys are there for our precious
little animals - they become such a big part of our lives!

Thank
you all for being so friendly and caring and helping Pandy out with
de-sexing, vaccinating and de-fleaing. After her surgery she was very
happy and became even more friendly and loving. She was very
happy to have no fleas so she could play with no scratching, and no big
Tom cats chasing her around. So
a big thank you from Pandy, and from Louise and I as well.

I have
known Kevin for many years and he has always been my preferred
vet. Kevin is wonderful with all animals, it's obvious he has a genuine
love for the them. To me it's important that a vet be good at what
he/she does, and also have a great rapport with animals. Kevin has
always displayed both of these characteristics. That's why I
don't go anywhere else.
We
actually call him uncle Kevin :-) I trust him so much with my
dogs and they respond really well to him. So thanks Uncle Kevin, you
always fit us in and you take great care of my fur babies. I highly
recommend you and your team.

From
all the team at Sapphire
Cat Rescue we thank you for the outstanding job you always do
with our rescue cats. The level of care they receive from you
is second to
none. In particular we brought one of our rescue cats to you,
Smooch, who
had a cancer growth on his ear and part of the ear needed to
be
removed. The care you took with Smooch was absolutely
incredible and
you can’t even tell that part of his ear has been removed.
Smooch needed a quite a lot of surgery yet you still took the
time to do an exceptional job on his ear as well as the rest of his
surgery. We put that down to your high standard and genuine caring for
animals. We really appreciate your support and the care you
take with
our rescue cats. Thank you. To see Smooch's Story, go to our

Dr
Kevin and his team went above and beyond the call of duty when my cat
fell ill. They were supportive during this trying time and
looked after
him like he was one of their own. The best thing is that I feel like I
can call them up or pop in to see them and not feel like I'm a burden
with all my random questions. I can not rave about them enough!!! Thank
you :-)

run one of the superlative veterinary clinics on the North Shore in
Auckland. Dr. Kevin is gentle, wise, skilled, and most of all,
sensitive. He goes out of his way to give comfort to his patients and
their humans - especially in times they need him most. He is dedicated

the best!

What a
wonderful team at the Albany Animal Doctors! They are truly empathetic,
professional and caring. I have the upmost faith when I take my kitten
to the vet as I know that he is in good hands. We live in Northcote and
there are plenty of other vet centres nearby, but believe me, we would
much rather travel to Albany just because our family thinks it is worth
the trip to have such exceptional service from an awesome team! THANK
YOU!!!
